Devoted supporters of Ariana Grande are calling for that a person who leaped a barricade and touched the performer during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or removed from Singapore.

A viral clip reveals the individual from Australia pushing past camera operators and lunging at Grande while the cast walked down a yellow carpet accompanied by supporters.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately wrested the stunned star away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "free after being taken in", though court documents indicated that he was due to be present on Friday morning. It is not clear if he was charged.

Record of Disruptions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has crashed a performance. His Instagram feed features videos of him disrupting other celebrity events, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney performance in earlier this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers performance in the same location last winter.

"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is clearly a legal violation," wrote an Instagram follower, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" a different Instagram user remarked.

Supporters Express Concern Over the Star's Safety

Several fans criticized Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had revealed experiencing PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her May 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming hundreds.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" commented one more comment on Instagram.

Several supporters also faulted guards at the gathering for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals requested online networks to block Mr Wen's content.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In clips circulating online, Grande seemed shocked when she was touched by the man. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by security.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the premiere activities continued without further issues.

Many of supporters had assembled in a crowd of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good regional premiere in a Singapore shopping center, including several who had waited for as long as eight hours before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be released on the 21st of November, is the sequel of a two-film adaptation of the popular Broadway and West End production Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely relationship between two contrasting sorceresses.

The show itself is a adaptation of the classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the character Glinda Glinda, was decked out in a champagne pink glittering gown at the premiere while Erivo, who portrays the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress decorated with roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the top-earning film of 2024 in the UK, and received 10 Academy Award nods, earning two for excellent wardrobe and set decoration.
